The 6265 models were produced from 1971 to 1988.
The 6265 could be fitted with 2nd or 3rd generation pushers. The model presented has 3rd generation pushers.
The 7mm Oyster Triplock 702 crown with its 3 dots above the logo is original.
Characteristic of the model, the bezel is made of metal and graduated up to 200 units.
The 37mm case is beautiful, yet thick and sharp.
The finish is satin, characteristic of ROLEX, and the bevels are pointed.
The brushed steel dial is simply splendid.
It is an original dial with the T SWISS T at 6 o'clock. The 2 T indicated that the indexes were covered with Tritium.
From 1998, Tritium was replaced by Luminova.
The inscription DAYTONA comes from the famous endurance race which has been held since 1966 on the Daytona International Speedway in Daytona Beach, Florida (USA). It is also called the ROLEX 24.
The stick-type hands have had Tritium applied to their ends.
The movement is a manual Valjoux caliber 727.
The steel Oyster bracelet, reference 78350 19 is very beautiful. It was replaced by the same reference in 1983.
ROLEX began delivering DAYTONAs with the 78350 19 strap from 1974.
The Endlinks reference 2710-571 are original and correspond to the model. Their size is 19 mm.
It comes with its original green leather ROLEX box and its cardboard box.
The requirement of collectors today makes this watch a very good investment for the future because the DAYTONA is becoming very very rare.
