The caliber used is the 3185, based on the 3135 caliber which was used for the Submariner Date, Datejust, Sea-Dweller and Yacht-Master.

Launched in 1985, the 3185 caliber was the first movement to allow the GMT hand to be configured independently of the current time by the crown. It allows a quick change of date.

It is certified COSC : The official offices of the COSC (Swiss Official Control of Chronometers) were founded in 1973 in La Chaux-de-Fonds. It is an independent organization that guarantees the Swiss manufacturing tradition of precision.

The sapphire crystal is scratch-resistant and the 6 mm diameter Twinlock ring provides double protection against water and dust infiltration.
