The Rolex Submariner 5513 was produced from 1962 to 1989 to replace the 5508 model.
It differs from its youngest, the 1680 appeared in 1965, by the absence of the date and magnifying glass x2.5 on plexiglass glass.
This beautiful Submariner was sold in 1984 by the well-known ROLEX retailer LEON, located at 222 rue de Rivoli in Paris under the arcades.
This watch had a single owner until recently.
At the end of this thirty years of production, the latest series of Submariner 5513 are called the "Transition". The only major evolution is the strapping of Tritium Indexes and a varnished paint.
The 5513 transitions are particularly appreciated by collectors because they mark the end of an era (the end of plexiglass, the end of matte dials and the end of painted indexes).
The Oyster 93150 bracelet with fasteners no. 580 corresponds to the reference of the model.
Here is a model full set interesting to add in a beautiful vintage collection or just to start it.
